Kate Aver Avraham is a published poet and children's author. Her picture book, What Will You Be, Sara Mee? will be out in 2008 from Charlesbridge. Her poetry has appeared in many journals and anthologies, including Calyx, Nimrod International Journal, Monterey Poetry Review, and the upcoming anthology Sisters Singing, from Wild Girl Publishing.

Laura Bayless is the author of two collections of poetry, The Edge of the Nest and White Streams and Touchstones, and her most recent book, Persistent Dreams. Her poems have appeared in many local and national publications and anthologies, including Dancing on the Brink of the World, selected poems of Point Lobos.

Ellen Hart has published two books of poetry, Beyond the Fog  and Miles to Go. She has 
also been published in Porter Gulch Review, Anthology of Monterey Bay Poets, Tree Magic 
and has been a featured reader for Poet Speak, Independent Voices and Poet’s Eye, 
Artist’s Tongue.
John Laue, a widely published poet and prose writer who's Advisory Editor to The Monterey 
Poetry Review, is soon to have his second chapbook, COLMA (City of the Dead) published.
Bernice Rendrick was born in Kansas in 1930. After living several years on the Monterey Peninsula 
she moved to Scotts Valley. Her poetry has been published in Quarry West, Montserrat Review, 
Passages North and the Monterey Poetry Review. She belongs to Poetry Santa Cruz, Tor House 
Foundation and the Front Street Poets.
Philip J. Wagner is a lecturer in Mythology, Art, and Psychology, Teacher of Poetry, Member of 
Emerald Street Poets, National Writers Union, Poetry Santa Cruz, out on bail and on his best behavior.
